  2. Do I need printed tickets to enter Wine and Wags?
Tickets are not issued for Wine and Wags. When you purchase your ticket, you provide the names of each guest. During check-in, all you’ll need to do provide the names of everyone attending and you’ll receive wristbands for each attendee. These wristbands allow everyone into the event!
  3. Do I need a dog to participate? Is there an admission fee for my dog?
Dogs are not required to attend the event, but are encouraged because they love fun nights out, too!  There is not an admission fee for your dog. (By the way, proceeds from Wine and Wags help ALL of the animals the SPCA assists!)
  4. Where do I park?
Wine and Wags takes place in the parking lot at the SPCA. Because of this, event attendees park across the street at Multisorb Technologies and Erie 1 BOCES. If needed, there is a pet-friendly shuttle bus to bring you to the event and back to your car. There will be police officers assisting with crossing the street. LIMITED handicapped parking will be available in the SPCA’s parking lot for those who have a handicapped parking permit tag.
  5. What if I am unable to attend after I have already purchased tickets?
Please call Amber Murphy at 716-875-7360 ext. 230. You will be allowed to change the guest names by forwarding your tickets to someone else or receive a refund. Refund requests are available until Friday, May 24.
  6. What do I get with my ticket purchase?
Each guest will receive food and drink samples from more than forty vendors, a wine glass, access to pet-related vendors, a goodie bag, and most importantly, the good feeling of supporting the SPCA’s work!
  7. What is included in the VIP reservations?
Access to the Waterford Advisors VIP Tent! Inside, guests will have a chance to sample exclusive wine, beer, and food samples not available to general admission guests. Dogs will also get the VIP treatment, so it’s a treat for both of you! VIP guests also have the opportunity to come to Wine and Wags at 5 p.m. — a half an hour before everyone else!
    Limited to 250 guests.
  8. Will I be able to see adoptable animals inside the SPCA?
Yes, the Adoptions Lobby and the Petique will be open to Wine and Wags guests. Please note: Before entering the adoptable animal areas, you will need to find a friend to watch your dog outside while you visit.
  9. Do I need to bring any money?
Guests will have the opportunity to participate in event raffles and shop in the Petique! (Cash, check, and credit cards will be accepted.)
  10. What happens if it rains?
Wine and Wags takes place rain or shine, so pray for good weather! Because your safety is important to the SPCA, Wine and Wags may be delayed or cancelled if severe weather occurs. Please check this webpage, our Facebook page, and your email before the event for any changes or cancellations.
