DESCRIPTION:SPCA Serving Erie County Offers Free Adoptions to Current and Past Military Members During Vets & Pets\nMay 3\, 2021\nBy: SPCA Chief Communications Officer Gina Lattuca \nTo celebrate the men and women of the armed services this Memorial Day\, the SPCA Serving Erie County offers “Vets & Pets\,” waiving adoption fees on most animals for individuals on active duty\, reserves\, and honorable discharge\, along with service-disabled veterans and those retired from military service. \nVets & Pets begins Monday\, May 24 and runs through Monday\, May 31* at the SPCA’s 300 Harlem Rd.\, West Seneca shelter and all SPCA offsite adoption locations. \nThose who qualify and are interested in viewing and adopting dogs or farm animals are urged to call the SPCA now to schedule an appointment during Vets & Pets\, since appointments are necessary for all dog and farm animal adoptions at this time. Appointments are also necessary for viewing and adopting cats each Saturday including Saturday\, May 29. To schedule an appointment\, call the SPCA at (716) 875-7360\, ext. 207.
