Your generous heartfelt gift will provide safe shelter, medical care, food, and love to suffering animals … like Chloe.

Our Humane Law Enforcement Officers found Chloe in a situation that left our hearts in our throats. Trapped in a waste-filled crate in a dark basement, she was left without access to food, water, and sunlight. To make matters worse, she wasn’t alone – there was another dog in the crate next to hers, for whom we did not make it in time. Chloe was going to need a lifeline to escape this horrific nightmare.

When Chloe arrived at the SPCA Serving Erie County, our veterinary team quickly noticed the toll of her neglect. Underneath her matted fur, Chloe’s bones were protruding from her small body, and her muscle mass had deteriorated. She would need a specialized diet to help her regain the weight she lost, along with a generous dose of love and care she so desperately deserved.

Your gift makes it possible for us to respond to the urgent cases of animal neglect that impact pets like Chloe. Please consider making a gift today!

Please note that the SPCA Serving Erie County receives no government funding, no tax dollars, and is not affiliated with any national organizations such as the ASPCA or the Humane Society of the United States. Your gift will help us care for nearly 12,000 animals each year.
