Giselle, a sweet 2-year-old pup, arrived at our shelter in desperate need of veterinary care. Her tiny body was buried underneath painful mats, and underneath was a frail, severely malnourished dog. X-rays revealed she had been struck by a car weeks earlier, leaving her with multiple serious fractures.
