There are thousands of unwanted animals in our community that need a second chance. Abandoned and often abused, they’ve never known the joy of being part of a family … or being truly cared for.

You can help suffering animals today, like Gravy.

Gravy’s journey to recovery has been a long one — and it’s still ongoing. He was brought to the SPCA after being found alone in a hardware store parking lot. It was clear that he needed medical attention right away. Gravy was emaciated and struggling with balance and coordination.

Our veterinary team discovered he had dental issues and diagnosed him with a condition that affects an area of the brain primarily responsible for coordinating movement. Following his dental treatment, he was placed with a loving foster family to help him gain weight and work on improving his motor skills.

Through your caring support of the SPCA Serving Erie County, you can save animals in desperate need — and give them the second chances they deserve.
