Kitten season is here . . . And while newborn kittens are cute and cuddly, let’s face it, babies (no matter the species!) require a lot of care and supplies! That’s where the Kitten Baby Shower comes in.

With your generous donation, the SPCA’s foster families will have the supplies they need to help start thousands of kittens’ lives out on the right paw. Donating is easy! Visit the SPCA’s Amazon Wish List and select the items you’d like to purchase and have them shipped directly to the SPCA’s Foster Care Department. Prefer to make a monetary donation? No problem! Your donation will help order items that aren’t available on Amazon.

NEW THIS YEAR: THE IN-PERSON KITTEN BABY SHOWER!

Join us on Saturday, May 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the SPCA (300 Harlem Road in West Seneca) and deliver your gifts in-person and meet some of the kittens you’re helping! We’ll have cupcakes for everyone who brings in or makes a monetary gift for our kittens!

If you’ve thought about being a foster care volunteer and can’t decide if this is the right lifesaving position for you, SPCA foster care staff and volunteers will be present and ready to talk with you about what being a foster parent entails!

And if any tiny kittens are available and hungry, kitten bottle feeding demonstrations will be held!

However you choose to support the Kitten Baby Shower, the kittens say, “Thank mew!” (Even though they’re exceptionally small, they speak for all of us at the SPCA!)
