YOUTH SERVICE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Youth ages 13-17 help with various service tasks throughout the shelter as needed and may exercise and socialize our adoptable animals by providing them with valuable enrichment during their shelter stay. This program provides a great opportunity for youth to have hands-on interactions with animals and give back to pets and people in need while earning community service hours and honing job skills. Learn about animal behavior and other animal-related topics, and more in this exciting, hands-on volunTEEN program. This program will resume in Fall 2023. Please contact humaneeducation@yourspca.org for projects that can be completed at home for service credit or to be notified when registration opens.
