Superman is a sweet dog who absolutely craves affection.

Sadly, he was neglected and abused. Superman was brought to the SPCA with severe lacerations and burn marks on his face from presumably having a very tight muzzle and collar on for an extended period. Despite what he’d been through, his loving nature remained — he was always friendly to everyone!

Superman also had several medical conditions that hadn’t been attended to. He needed help right away to alleviate the pain. It was important that he knew someone was going to be there for him, no matter what.

We’re trying to raise $10,000 for our Annual Fund Drive to start the year off as strong as possible. You can help animals like Superman continue to receive the emergency treatment and care they need to recover, by supporting our 2022 Annual Fund Drive today.

Your gift can help turn pain and loneliness in safety and love. Here is Superman going home with his new family this past fall.

Please note that the SPCA Serving Erie County receives no government funding, no tax dollars, and is not affiliated with any national organizations such as the ASPCA or the Humane Society of the United States. Your gift will help us care for nearly 12,000 animals each year.
