October 18, 2018
By: Chief Communications Officer Gina Browning
To celebrate the men and women of the armed services this Veterans’ Day, the SPCA Serving Erie County is waiving adoption fees on dogs 7 years and older and on all other animals for individuals on active duty, reserves, honorable discharge, or service-disabled veterans, or those retired from military service. For all other community members, adoption fees for these animals will be half off. The Vets & Pets program runs Monday, October 22 through Monday, November 12. Military ID or DD214 will need to be presented.
Animals can be adopted from the SPCA’s 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca shelter, or one of several other offsite adoption locations.
Photos of adoptable animals are available here, and a list of offsite adoption locations and addresses can be found here.
