The SPCA’s Paws for Love program brings furry (and feathered!) friends to spread joy and comfort to hundreds of locations across Erie County. Locations like nursing homes, assisted living facilities, Buffalo’s Family Justice Center, group homes, Hospice locations, children’s facilities, the Buffalo/Niagara International Airport, funeral parlors, and even stress-reducing events at colleges during exam times.
As a 100% community-funded organization, we are grateful to our community of donors who provide ongoing support to keep this program available at no cost to those who need relief from the anxiety and grief that life sometimes brings us.
We dedicate our limited staff and volunteer-lead resources toward supporting our Paws for Love teams as they concentrate on our program’s mission of improving human health and well-being through the human-animal bond to our community’s most vulnerable populations.
Many times, we receive requests from companies that fall outside of the program’s direct mission, and we wish to still honor these requests. To provide the benefits of this program to their employees, the SPCA requests that a gift be made to help sustain this program. The contribution goes directly into the time and work invested into targeted recruitment efforts aimed at inviting our teams to take part in the requested wellness event.
The SPCA respectfully requests a minimum gift per event to receive a Paws for Love visit. Gift tiers are based on how many teams are required and the duration of the visit.
Employee Wellness Event (500+ employees):
$1,000 minimum gift
Employee Wellness Event (250- 500 employees):
$750 minimum gift
Employee Wellness Event (100-250 employees):
$500 minimum gift
Employee Wellness Event (50-100 employees):
$250 minimum gift
Employee Wellness Event (Less than 50 employees):
$100 minimum gift
**Gifts of $500 and above will be recognized by being listed on our corporate partners page and showcased as a dedicated animal advocate in our community.
