SPCA ANNOUNCES STUDENT WINNERS OF POSTER/CREATIVE WRITING CONTEST

The SPCA Serving Erie County has announced the student winners of its 126th annual Humane Poster and Creative Writing Contest!

This year’s contest, themed “Emergency-Prepared Pet,” was open to all private, public, and home school students and Boy/Girl Scout troops in Erie County, first through eighth grades. Winners receive awards and $10 – $25 cash prizes, sponsored by the family of the founder of the SPCA’s Humane Education Department in the 1800s, Lucy Lord.

The winners of the 2018 contest, shown below, will receive awards and prizes during a special reception Wednesday, May 30 in the Education Center of the SPCA’s 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca shelter.
