So many unwanted kittens and puppies will be born this spring — helpless and desperate for love. They’ll need round-the-clock bottle-feeding and care until each can find a loving family of their own. Sweet little ones like Elle…

Elle is a precious kitten who was found searching for food behind a homeowner’s garbage cans — all alone, underweight, riddled with fleas, and needing an enucleation due to an infected eye globe. She had never known what it felt like to be loved by a family.

Elle’s story is just one example of why your gift is needed this spring. Nearly 12,000 animals will come through our doors this year — many abandoned or abused. Others will come from unwanted litters. We must ensure we are always ready to care for every one.

Please consider a gift today. Every dollar you give helps provide food, shelter, lifesaving care, and love to animals in desperate need.

Please note that the SPCA Serving Erie County receives no government funding, no tax dollars, and is not affiliated with any national organizations such as the ASPCA or the Humane Society of the United States. Your gift will help us care for nearly 12,000 animals each year.
