(BUFFALO, NY) – Buffalo Sabres goalie Linus Ullmark has partnered with the online fundraising platform, The Giving Project, to start a fundraising campaign for the SPCA Serving Erie County. Sabres fans and animal lovers alike can enter the sweepstakes at givingproject.com for their chance to win the ultimate Sabres fan experience in February 2020.

“I feel such great love and compassion for animals,” said Ullmark. “To get this opportunity to help the SPCA Serving Erie County feels like a great way for me to give back.”

Founder of The Giving Project, Joe Castle, says the public can enter this campaign by choosing a giving level, which gives donors entries into the campaign.

“The more you donate, the more chances you have to win,” Castle said. “Linus is a great guy, trying to help animals in our community by fundraising for a worthy organization such as the SPCA Serving Erie County. You can’t get more Buffalo than that.”

One winner will be chosen February 15, 2020. [The Ullmark’s Ultimate Sabres Fan Package] sweepstakes includes the following:

– 4 Tickets to Sabres vs. Jets game on February 23, 2020
– Linus Ullmark Buffalo Sabres Navy Home Jersey
– 4 passes to the Sabres Gold Carpet – area outside of the Sabres locker room where fans can watch the team come out for the next period
– Post-game meet & greet with Linus Ullmark
– 2 hotel rooms for either Saturday February 23, 2020, or Sunday February 24, 2020

“In working with Linus last year, we learned that his love and compassion for animals are incredibly strong,” Gina Lattuca, SPCA Serving Erie County Chief Communications Officer said. “Equally-strong is his desire to help those who are temporarily living a shelter life. Thanks to Linus’ efforts, we’ve been able to find more animals homes more quickly, and better their stays while they’re with us. That kind of assistance, and from such a beloved public figure as Linus, is invaluable to us and the animals.”

[Proceeds] from the campaign will benefit the SPCA Serving Erie County. Visit the campaign page here: http://givingproject.com/win-linus-ullmarks-ultimate-sabres-fan-package.
