Our Wish List

Aside from monetary donations, community members support our shelter by donating supplies that we use on a regular basis. If you would like to donate any of the items on this list, simply drop them off at our West Seneca shelter (300 Harlem Road) in the Adoptions lobby.

Our needs and storage are frequently changing therefore we kindly ask that you limit your donation to only the items listed!

If you are dropping off large quantities of items please call 716-875-7360 ext. 227 before dropping off.

Dog Donations:

  • Bath Towels
  • Collars
  • Hot Dogs
  • Kong or Durable Toys
  • Loop Leashes
  • Treats – must be unopened and not expired
  • Stuffed animals (6″ or larger) – no beads, hard eyes, buttons, or noises.
  • Soft-sided, pop-up crates (size medium and up)
  • Wash Cloths

Cat Donations:

  • Bath Towels
  • Friskies wet (canned or pouch) cat food only
  • Gently used or new cat collars
  • New and gently used toys
  • Plastic pet carriers (medium size)
  • Treats – must be unopened and not expired
  • Wash Cloths

Other Animal Donations:

  • Baby receiving blankets
  • Bags of substrate (Reptibark, coconut fiber bedding, walnut shell “sand”) –must be unopened
  • Bird or Small Mammal Treats – must be unopened and not expired
  • Bird perches, all sizes – Unused
  • Carefresh bedding (no pine or wood shavings)
  • Extra Large or Medium-sized birdcages – must be in excellent condition, no rust or missing paint
  • Hammocks for ferrets or sugar gliders
  • Heat pads – Unused
  • Light bulbs (UVA & UVB, not fluorescent bulbs)
  • Millet – must be unopened and not expired
  • Plastic wheels
  • Small Mammal Wooden chews or chew toys – unused
  • Timothy hay – must be unopened and not expired

PLEASE NOTE: Sometimes the SPCA receives donations we cannot use. We distribute these items to other organizations as we see fit.
