It’s hard to imagine how a dog like Zelda ended up living on the street, scrounging for scraps, and constantly on the move — searching for a safe place to rest. But there she was, limping in pain along the side of the road, coated in mud and grime. Her body was covered in cuts and scrapes, and her back right leg was in rough shape. Perhaps she was attacked by a less friendly animal that wanted her dinner.
