KindnessCampCONNECT

This year, the SPCA Serving Erie County is bringing our summer camp to you! We are offering six different KindnessCampCONNECT Backpack options, and two virtual shelter classroom experiences with live lessons and activities and cool, take-home activity backpacks of their own!

While virtual camps were originally going to be offered as week-long or mini-camps, we have now canceled our mini-camps and will be offering just two week-long camps: Introduction to Veterinary Science and Advanced Veterinary Science.  These camps will provide children with a sense of community and consistency by allowing them time to be safely together with friends.

These animal-themed camp sessions include the following:
*Daily interactive, live-facilitated sessions led by an SPCA Humane Educator
*Educational animal lessons
*Crafts
*Plenty of virtual animal interactions
*Offline activities
*And more!

We won’t just be staring at a screen all day either!

Prices for week-long camps are included with the descriptions below.  Fees cover take-home kit supplies and materials needed for camp. The SPCA is offering a sibling $10 discount when more than one of your children enrolls in one of these two virtual camps.

You will see these full-week options at the bottom of the page, and can register today!

KindnessCampCONNECT-To-Go Backpack Options

Bring the SPCA’s Kindness Camp to your home! KindnessCampCONNECT-To-Go Backpacks will provide your child with fun, engaging, hands-on activities and games that can be enjoyed at their convenience.

Camp backpacks include one week’s worth of materials and instructions needed for the themed activities, animal-themed art projects, educational handouts, and fun swag items. (You will need to provide scissors, glue, and a table cover for messy projects.)

Since the health and safety of our staff and participants is our primary concern, all materials are disinfected beforehand and camp backpacks are handled by staff who are wearing masks and gloves.

Backpacks will be available via curbside pickup, or can be delivered within Erie County at an additional cost. Backpacks can also be shipped  (see below).

*DELIVERY IS ONLY OFFERED FOR LOCATIONS WITHIN ERIE COUNTY, NY ! If you have chosen delivery, you must register for your child’s backpack by the Thursday before your backpack’s start date to have your backpack delivered in time.

Curbside pickup will be available at the SPCA’s 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca shelter Mondays-Saturdays, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

If you are unable to pick up your backpack at the SPCA and you live *within* Erie County, NY, please consider selecting a delivery option.
