Break out the brews! For the first time, Buffalo Brewpub, located at 6861 Main Street in Williamsville, will host “Paws at the Pub” to benefit the SPCA Serving Erie County!

The free rain-or-shine event for people of all ages (no pets, please) is scheduled for Sunday, August 5, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. A special menu will be available during the event as well as a flat rate for beer, wine, liquor, and soda, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the SPCA. Music will be provided by DJ Jiggz.

Guests have the chance to win a one-week stay on Daytona Beach, a 10-ft. trampoline, a tasting and tour at 12 Gates Brewing Co., and much more! Buffalo Brewpub and 12 Gates Brewing Co. have collaborated on a Passion Fruit Mango Kolsch beer which is currently being served, and will be served at the event. There will also be a basket raffle, a silent auction, and a “mystery pull raffle.”

The SPCA’s annual dog walk, Paws in the Park, turns 25 this year, and to commemorate the September 22 occasion, folks who attend Paws at the Pub and pre-register for Paws in the Park receive $5.00 off registration fees.

“We are big animal lovers and greatly admire the work the SPCA Serving Erie County does in our community every day,” says Christopher Townsell, Buffalo Brewpub general manager. “We saw an opportunity to make a big contribution towards their efforts, and our whole staff was excited over the idea.”
