Pet Food Pantry

The SPCA understands that family hardships can happen at any time. These hardships often affect the household pets and struggling families who may not be able to obtain pet food on a regular basis.

The SPCA’s Pet Food Pantry was created to provide temporary assistance to these struggling families in need. At this time, no proof of hardship is required to utilize the pantry.

Depending on availability, cat litter, collars, leashes, and other supplies may be provided in addition to food.

The food provided through this program has been graciously donated to the SPCA. Because of this, we are unable to guarantee the brand or types of food that will be in stock and cannot take requests for specific types of food.

No proof of hardship is needed to access the pantry. For assistance, contact Amy Jaworski at (716) 875-7360, ext. 224, or email Amy at ajaworski@yourspca.org.

Please use this form to submit an electronic request.

What the Pet Food Pantry Provides

We’ve got your back (and your pet’s tummy!) with more than just kibble. Cat litter, collars, leashes – you name it, we might just have it (depending on what our generous friends have donated, of course!). And while we can’t promise specific brands or types of food, there’s usually something delicious in stock that your pet will love.

We understand that finding the perfect food can be tricky, so if you have any questions or concerns, our friendly staff is always happy to lend an ear (and maybe suggest some alternatives!).

Remember, it’s all thanks to the amazing SPCA donors! We’re incredibly grateful for their generosity!

Pet Food Pantry Guidelines

– You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the Pet Food Pantry.

– Please let us know if your name, phone number, address, or alternate contact information changes. This will help us stay in touch and keep you informed about our services.

– Please let us know if you welcome a new pet (or say goodbye to a pet) in your household. This helps us ensure we have enough food for everyone.

– Breeding pets are not permitted within the program.

– Cat food provided by the Pet Food Pantry is intended for your cat(s) who live inside your home, not for feeding community cats.

– We prioritize a respectful and friendly environment for everyone. Disruptive behavior, including using inappropriate language or being rude to staff or volunteers, may result in temporary or permanent suspension from the program.

– We’re incredibly grateful for the generous donations that make our Pet Food Pantry possible. While we always strive to have food and supplies available, please understand that items may run low occasionally.

– The amount of food you receive may vary depending on our current inventory. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to support all pets in need.
